A late Medieval cast copper alloy purse suspension loop, missing the bar.
The loop is an inverted drop-shape with a conical attachment and protruding knob meant to attach to the purse bar. The drop-shape is almost symmetrical apart from a slight bulging on one side. The loop is rectangular in section with slight rounding to the edges. The loop is of mostly even width apart from a slight bend at the head.
