A broken and corroded cast copper alloy stud, probably post medieval in date. The stud has a conical head, truncated at the narrow end (Dia.: 6.2mm) from which emerges the corroded remains of an iron shaft. This latter travels through the head to leave concretions of orange-brown corrosion product all over the flat wider end (Dia.: 11.0mm). The head is a corroded red-brown colour with patches of light-green corrosion product.
