An Anglo-Scandinavian copper alloy strap end, Thomas type A. The strap end is elongated, rectangular in cross-section and terminates with an animal head. The features are worn but it had large ears and a prominant snout. The body of the strap end is decorated with a lozenge shaped panel filled with worn cross-hatches. The attachment end is incomplete.
