Cast Medieval lead spindle whorl, c.1100- 1500.
It is sub-circular in plan with a central circular perforation. It is biconical with both faces decorated with cast, raised decoration. This takes the form of lines radiating from the central hole splitting the face into sections. In these sections are raised dots, between 3 and 5 depending on the section.
