A copper alloy Late Medieval to Post-Medieval rowel spur. The arms are incomplete due to old breaks and the rowel is missing. The spur has a short curving neck with three collars adjacent to the heel. Two grooves and ridges encircle the collar at the heel. The rowel bosses protrude and are rounded, and perforated for a pin to hold the rowel (missing) . The length of the neck and box is 29.15mm. The arms are D-sectioned and the spur fragment weighs 33.71g.
