These sherds form part of a collection of 60 sherds of Roman and Medieval pottery that was submitted for identification in November 2009. These reports detail the finds and fabrics and where possible, dates and wares.
1) Body sherd in a light grey fabric with small stone inclusions and frequent black iron oxide flecks. Thin brown slip on outside of pot. Local Oxfordshire ware, AD 75-199
2) Rim sherd of a probable jug in a hard, sandy fabric with abundant quartzite inclusions and visible mica flecks. An unusual fabric. Probably a locally produced fabric, AD 75-199
