A Post Medieval copper alloy thimble with maker's mark probably dating 1600 - 1650. This thimble has a slightly domed profile and circular pits, hand-drilled, in a spiral down from the peak. There is a maker's mark at the end of the pits, just above the rim; it is a stamped "K". An incised line forms a border between the pits and the rim. The copper alloy has a dark green patina.
