A vessel rim fragment in cast copper alloy of probable medieval to post medieval origin. From rim chart assessment, the fragment is probably from a vessel of around 360mm in diameter and thus a cauldron. The rim has a simple expanded flat top, with the pot body reducing in thickness down its depth.
The surface is now a coarse mottled dark green/brown.
