These sherds form part of a collection of 60 sherds of Roman and Medieval pottery that was submitted for identification in November 2009. These reports detail the finds and fabrics and where possible, dates and wares.
A small collection of grey ware body sherds in a hard fine fabric. One sherd has lattice decoration. Locally produced grey wares. Probably AD 43-199.
Notes:
The assemblage is from a pasture field close to the River Thame, and was discovered during groundworks.
