Two (2) sherds (one (1) basesherd, one (1) bodysherd) of several wheelthrown ceramic vessels of an miscellaneous (unsourced) local Post Medieval glazed earthenware (16th to 18th Centuries in dating).
The sherds vary in thickness from 3.96mm to 7.50mm. In total they weigh 19.6 grams.
The sherds have a pale cream fabric. The basesherd has an external and internal pale green glaze and consists of a flat base form, characteristic of a small cup type form. The base diameter is 8 cm and 12% of the base is present. The bodysherd has internal black glaze. It is not possible to determine what type of vessel the bodysherd has orignated from, but most likely comes from a storage bowl.
Both sherds are slightly abraded.
Both sherds have been photographed.
