A medieval copper alloy mount a repoussé rectangular mount in the form of a stylised possible lion or dog passant to dexter. There is a single centrally-placed separate copper alloy rivet. This example is broadly similar to one of uncertain design illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (2002, 204, fig.128, no.1103). 13th-14th century.
