A cast, copper alloy strap loop dating from AD 1150-1400. It is trapezoidal in form, the upper part of the sides being slightly convex, the shorter, lower part being straight. There are inward pointing projections at the end of the convex sections. The outer edge has a circular, central knop flanked by a ridge at each corner. The loop has a dark brown patina. It is 18.4mm long, 21.6mm wide and 8.2mm thick. It weighs 3.54gm.
