A tertiary debitage flake with retouch around the edges, to form an ovate scraper (tool), of Neolithic date (2900 BC - 1600 BC).
It is sub triangular in plan, and semi-circular in cross section. It consists of a tertiary debitage flake. Along the lower edges, there are signs of regular controlled retouch, indicating reuse as a scraper (tool). Other than the retouch, there is no signs of working such as a bulb of percussion or conchoidal ripples.
It has been made out of a honey coloured flint, with an opaque surface patination. This patination occurs through being rolled around in the plough soil.
The scraper measures 34.00mm in length, 39.27mm wide and 6.98mm thick. It weighs 10.5 grams.
The scraper (tool) is broadly Neolithic in dating (2900 BC - 1600 BC).
