The fragments include pieces of tegula and imbrex, both of Roman dating (1st to 4th Centuries AD). Ceramic tile fragments such as these are indicative of a Roman building being present in the vicinity of the site.
All eight fragments exhibit a high degree of abrasion, with surfaces being lost and edges being rounded.
