Cast copper alloy strap end dating to the Early Medieval period, (400-1066). The object is tongue-shaped in plan and sub-oval in cross-section. It has been cast in one piece, and one side has broken away. The upper surface of the object is decorated with six ring-and-dot decorations. The lower surface is undecorated. It has a dark brown patina and is in good condition.
