A copper alloy fitting dating to the medieval period. The object is in the shape of a modern-day wing-nut, having a circular frame in the middle and a projectin arm to either side with upward curving terminal. Each terminal is faceted to depict an abstract beasts-head looking upwards. The beast resembles a dog. The frame is rectangular in cross-section.
