Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch fragment, lower bow and foot/catchplate only; 1st-2nd century. The upper part of the lower bow is decorated with a fine knurled line (width 1.2mm). Collared footknob. Complete triangular catchplate. Light blue-green patina. Length 23.9mm, width across bow 3.6mm, length of catchplate 13.3mm, overall thickness 10.3mm, thickness of bow 2.7mm, weight 2.49g.
