A fragment of a purse bar. The bar has a circular section and a panel of engraved diaper-work inlaid with nieelo. Such decoration is very typical for purses of this period. The bar has two suspension holes in a projecting flange. The terminal retains the separate rove which was fitted over the terminal to secure the two pivotting frames.
