1282-1377. Probable Edward I class 4 de - Edward III Post Treaty period round farthing. Length 11.3mm, Width 10.3mm, Thickness 0.9mm, Diameter 11.3mm, Weight 0.5g. Obverse: Crowned bust - facing with simple drapery. Inscription: EDW(AR)VS(RE)X. Reverse: Long-cross with three pellets in each angle. Inscription: CIVITAS LONDO(N). Mint name: London. Die axis: 240 deg. or 8 o'clock. Worn, obverse struck centrally but reverse a little off centre. Attractive silver colour with just a couple of patches of grey/black tarnish. Ref.
