Possibly a Roman pin or stud. The fragment is a cast copper alloy biconical terminal with a worn break on one side, presumably where a shank would have extended. A significant amount of the original surface is missing, but where it survives is a dark green colour. It is 10.16mm in diameter, 8.59mm thick and weighs 2.45 grams.
