A cast copper alloy hollow cylinder, hexagonal in section, with a pair of opposed broken projecting loops at the open end. At the opposite end is an integral flat-topped projection above a constriction. The large part of one side is broken away. The wall of the cylinder is less than 1.5mm thick.
Notes:
One possible function for this object is as an ammunition container, but this has not been verified. Such containers appear to have been of wood or pewter.
