A late medieval or early post medieval hooked clothing fastening. The fastening is circular with closely-spaced projections on the frame which enclose a floral quatrefoil. The hook is wide and thick. The separately-attached loop on the back is missing.
Notes:
The fastening belongs to Read's Early Post Medieval Class D, although no precise parallel has been found.
