Part of a copper alloy bracelet probably dating from the late Iron Age period (200 BC - 43AD). The bracelet would have been penannular. One terminal and some of the hoop survives. The terminal is D shaped in section. It is decorated with four wide grooves, each flaked with narrow collars and spaced out with thicker D shaped sectioned 'beads' between them. The rest of the bracelet is sub triangular in section, and undecorated. A close parallel has not been found, but the style seems similar to beaded bracelets and torcs of the late Iron Age period. The fragment has a deep glossy brown patina. It is 52.2mm long, 7.4mm wide and 5.3mm thick. It weighs 7.24gm.
