A cast, copper alloy double loop oval buckle, c. 1350-1650, which has been bent at some time. The buckle is plain except for three engraved, transverse lines on the outer edge of each loop. It has a smooth light green patina. Compare number 290 on page 53 of Whitehead's "Buckles 1250 - 1800". The pin and plate are missing.
