Post Medieval cast copper alloy knife stop. It is rectangulae in plan and hexagonal in cross section. There is an incised 'X' on the upper surface. The lower surface has a small, corroded rectangular piece of ion which would have formed the upper part of the blade. It is 16.73mm long, 13.95mm wide, 9.76mm thick and weighs 10.63 grams. The metal is reddish-brown in colour.
