A copper alloy pin probably dating from the Roman period. The head is globular with a flattened top, and tapering base. The small piece of shaft that survives is circular in section and there is no collar. It is 15mm long and 7.4mm in diameter. It weighs 1.34gm. Compare SOM-8FD690, and SWYOR-69F714.
