A cast copper alloy fragment of a probable terret ring, perhaps dated from the late Iron Age to early Roman. (100BC - 150AD). A small section of side arm remains and appears to have the junction with the skirt - possibly with lappet decoration. The remaining strap bar has a circular cross section and the complete ring would have been about 55mm in diameter. The surface is heavily corroded with a mid to dark green patina.
