267-268AD. Debased silver (2%) Antoninianus of Gallienus (253-268AD). Obverse: Radiate bust right. Inscription: IM(P) GALLIENVS AVG. Reverse: Griffin walking left with officina mark (Triangle) in exergue. Inscription: APOLLINI(CO)NS(A)VG. Mint name: Rome. Die axis:330 deg. or 11 o'clock. Slightly oval shaped and reverse struck a little off centre. Some wear with green patina but also some patches of surface corrosion especially on the reverse. Ref.
