A copper-alloy Medieval English jetton, c.1280-1343 AD. Similar to Mitchiner, 1988: nos. 191-192.
Obverse: Smiling face (or Lion's head?) facing within an inner circle, border of pellets and wavy line.
Reverse: Long-cross moline, rosette or small plain cross in each internal angle, pellet in each curled terminal of the cross, pellet in each external angle of the cross, rosette at outer edge of each arm of the cross.
