A small lead alloy bi-conical decorated spindle whorl of indeterminate date. The whorl was found in an area where medieval and post medieval coins have been found and thus we may perhaps assume that date range for this whorl. Each side of the whorl is decorated with random angular lines forming triangles and chevrons. The central hole has a diameter of 9.45mm.
The surface has the typical pale cream/grey lead oxide patina.
