Twenty-four (24) sherds (ten (10) rimsherds, one (1) basesherd and thirteen (13) bodysherds) of several wheelthrown ceramic vessels.
The sherds vary in thickness from 5.04mm to 7.07mm. In total they weigh 223 grams.
The sherds have a slightly soapy feel, fine grained light orange fabric with occasional grog inclusisons. It is similar in style to Oxfordshire red colour-coated ware, typically of 3rd to 4th Century AD dating . A couple of rim forms are present, including an everted beaded rim and a straight rim with external lip. These rim forms typically belong to bowl and cup forms.

Fabric type: Oxfordshire Red colour-coated ware.
Firing condition: oxidised exterior, unoxidised core, oxidised interior.
Hardness: Hard
Surface texture: Smooth, slightly powdery.
Condition of sherds: Variable. Some sherds demonstrate a high degree of abrasion, with rounded edges whereas other sherds have sharp, fresh breaks.
