A lead alloy stylus, 28mm long (folded) and 6mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition and weighs 17.43 grams. It is circular in section and has one pointed, conical end and the other has a wide collar, making it look rather like a nail. Medieval to post-Medieval in date.
