Cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. On one side is a raised initial R written retrograde (backwards). The other side is blank. The token is 20.2mm in diameter, 2.9mm thick and weighs 6.8 grams. Tokens with simple designs were very easy to make, had a range of uses and continued in use for a long period, those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, 1500-1850 AD.
