19 ceramic body sherds from the same location, probably all medieval, circa 1200 - 1400 AD in date. At least three or four different fabrics are represented so the sherds do not relate to the same vessel. Four of the sherds have a dark grey exterior with a grey to brown interior and a deep red core. These have a smooth texture with few inclusions. There are perhaps 12 sherds of another fabric with an orange interior with large rough grog inclusions. The exterior of these sherds ranges from a dark grey/brown to orange with a reddy grey core. One sherd is of a similar fabric to the above, with a pale cream interior with organic inclusions and a smooth dark grey exterior. The core is a reddy grey. One sherd has a dark orange interior with large grog inclusions, a rough grey exterior with grog inclusions and a pink core. A final sherd is a dark pink in colour with dark grog inclusions and this is the same colour throughout. Total weight 177.9 grams.
