An incomplete cast copper alloy spur fragment of medieval to post-medieval date. The fragment consists of the neck and one side of the spur, though both are broken with worn breaks. The rowel, rowel box and terminals of the spur no longer survive. The neck is circular in section and splits into two which would have extended to form the rowel box to house the rowel. The neck attaches to the spur proper where the two arms would meet. The surviving arm curves away from the neck and has a D-shaped section. The break on the arm is worn.
The metal is a mid blackish-brown colour and is slightly worn. The spur is 40.9mm long and weighs 12.7g.
