A cast copper-alloy object, probably a pendent loop, of Medieval date. It has a circular frame that is triangular in section with flat inner edge and pointed outer edge. The frame has an offset and narrowed bar and on the outer edge has a large projecting oval shaped knop with transverse collar. It measures 13.97mm in width, 20.29mm in length, 3.66mm in thickness, and weighs 3.09g.
A pendant loop from a bar mount is noted from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991: no. 1192). This suggest a date range in the 14th century AD for the current example.
