Two flint flakes, both with areas of retouch.
First flake is pale grey with darker mottling and measures 42.7mm long, 20.2mm wide, 5.1mm thick and it weighs 3.24grams. It is the distral end of a snapped flake with arises from previous removals on the dorsal face, some of which have ended short. There is very short, semi-abrupt scalar retouch along the entireleft edge on the ventral face.
Second flake is dark grey in colour and measures 46.5mm long, 29.7mm wide, 5.8mm thick and it weighs 9.30grams.It is the proximal end of a snapped flake with a bulb of percussion on the ventral face and arises on the dosal face. There is a line of cortex remaining on the dorsal face, about 25% of the surface. There is a notch made by deliberate retouch about half way up the left edge on the dorsal face.
Notes:
A mixture of cores and thin flakes were found near each other, perhaps suggesting a Neolithic date.
