Part of a flint core with a prepared platform at one end, regular, parallel arises from removals down three sides and a break on the fourth. There is a small area of cortex (c.5% or the surface) remaining near the distal end. It measures 68.6mm long, 25.6mm wide, 19.4mm thick and it weighs 47.53grams. Dark grey flint with paler mottling.
Notes:
A mixture of cores and thin flakes were found near each other, perhaps suggesting a Neolithic date.
