A Mesolithic flint knife formed from a flake. The flake is partially cortical, with approximately one third of the dorsal face, on the right side, covered with a brown cortex. There is retouch along the lateral edge on the dorsal face, removing the cortex along the edge. This may have been to blunt the edge, facilitating more comfortable handling, or it may have been to ease its fitting into a handle or haft of some sort. The left lateral edge has a small amount of retouch, but otherwise the edge is naturally very sharp. There is also possible retouch at the distal end, which may have allowed this end to have been used as a scraper. The tool measures 38.49 mm long, 16.22 mm wide, 4.74 mm thick and weighs 3.3 grams. It is sub triangular in section. The flint is a grey to cream colour.
