A copper alloy hooked-clasp dating to the 16th century. The clasp is roughly lozenge-shaped in plan and has four curved hooks protruding from each corner (two of these hooks are broken). The clasp is of composite construction of two copper alloy sheets, joined together by a lead infill. The clasp has a knot design in punched dot decoration on the front and appears quite brassy in appearance.

The clasp measures 17.18mm long, 16.64mm wide and is 4.53mm thick. It weighs 6.9gms. The clasp dates to the early post-medieval period and is of Read Class V Type 1.
