Roman copper alloy finger ring fragment, 18mm long, 12mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.96grams. It consists of the bezel and one side of a 'signet' style ring. It has a flat rectangular bezel and shoulders which start the width of the bezel and taper to a narrow band. The shoulders are decorated with a chevron pattern formed of two sets of two parallel recesses.
