Medieval?? copper alloy object, 57mm long, 18mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 24.54grams. The object consists of a sub rectangular sectioned shaft which has a sub-spherical protrusion on one surface, just below the point it widens out into a sub rectangualr plate. This plate has an axe like protrusion at one side, with two curved protrusions. The object is incomplete and may be partof a harness fitting?
