CROSS PENDANT

Unique ID: DEV-6B7195

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Published Find published

a 'celtic-style' cross. The cross has a ring design surrounding the cross' intersection, joining each of the four arms. The ring and the cross share a common centre. Decoration on the upper surface and undecorated back.

Notes:

As it was found before 1997 this falls under the Treasure Trove Act; where evidence would have to point to the object having been deliberately hidden with the intention of recovery. The cross is most likely to be a casual loss, therefore does not constitute treasure.

Recorded at Fabulous Finds Day, Exeter Guildhall, April 2010
