Lead Medieval spindle whorl.
Complete circular spindle whorl which is biconical and has a central circular perforation, now filled with accretions from the river. It has decoration in relief on both sides which consists of lines radiating from the centre to the edge, splitting the area into five sections. Four of these have three dots, one has two, it appears this was a mistake and all sections were meant to be the same.
