Post-Medieval cast copper alloy mount. It is triangular in plan and flat and has two rear integral pointed lugs. The terminal has two ridges and forms an acorn shape. There is a rounded knop at the top. This is a probable strap or harness mount and it dates to the 16th to 18th century. It is 27mm long.
cf Read, 2001 'Metal Artefacts of Antiquity' Fig 22, no.329 which is dated to the 17th century.
