A copper alloy Medieval cruciform suspension mount. The mount is crossed shaped with four arms extending out at 90 degree angles. One arm tapers to a thin point which is bent at the end. This was probably a suspension loop originally. A rivet survives in the back of the opposing arm. Small traces of gilding still remain in places. It has a length of 40.26mm, width 34.70mm, thickness 3.02mm, weight 5.39g. See SWYOR-6EF7E2 located on the PAS database. The mount is probably not a harness pendant suspension mount, as they normally have a double lug, but it is probably of similar date, probably 13th or 14th century.
