Gilt unidentified object: D-sectioned bar, both ends missing, with well preserved "chip carved" ornament on the convex face of a back-to-back pair of human masks, with pronounced eyebrows, eyes and spatulate noses. Bears some resemblance to a radiate brooch knob. >15.5 x 9 x 3mm. 6^th century.
