A cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age belt or strap mount, most probably part of horse harness or wagon fittings. It is composed of a large, circular ring with a D-shapes section. Soldered inside the ring is a figure-of-eight design, bound in the centre by a large knop. This design is a characteristic openwork decoration that consists of a typical Celtic double-eye ornament. One of the inner rings has been slightly torn. The metal is pitted and a dark greenish-brown colour. There is no further evidence of attachment.
