A Late Medieval (1400-1500) silver-gilt finger-ring, consisting of a band 22.31mm in diameter, 6.45mm wide and 1.23mm thick, surmounted (presumably with solder) by a crowned heart between two four-petalled flowers - a heart sprouting flowers. Above the heart is a three-pronged crown with four circular perforations.

The hoop is decorated with a continuous-wave foliate sprig, with a four-petalled flower in each of four undulations, and three leaves between and at either end.

The finger-ring measures 24.31mm in max. length (inclusive of mounting) and weighs 5.71g.

Although no direct parallel appears on the PAS database or in previous Treasure Reports, the crowned heart between two flowers does appear on a 'fede' (clasped hands) finger-ring from Coberley, Gloucestershire (2007 T512); NMGW-A8C737
