Cast leg of a cauldron. Tapered, and of flattened triangular section, producing a vertical rib on outer face which becomes more prominent as it approaches the broader end. The broad end is concave where it fitted to the body of the vessel. One of a group of vessel fragments from the same site and reported together, perhaps a collection intended for recycling. Suggested date: Medieval: 1200-1450. Length: 50.70mm, Width: 31.33mm, Thickness: 16.25mm, Weight: 68.21gms.
